Oh my, time flies when you're having fun. Or in this case when you're working hard. I was a fan of Bing before we started working on this film, but my God the performance he is giving in this film makes me feel so blessed to be a part of it. Everyone is working so hard, and I only hope that I am doing half as good a job as they are. Hopefully soon I will have some photos from the set to share. Hopefully some of that handsome devil, Bill Holden! All my best till I get another break and can write more. Must drag myself to bed now. Love you!

Filming has been going well. I don't know that I'm very right for this part, but I am playing it as best I can. Working with Bing Crosby and William Holden has been very wonderful. I can't wait for Hitch's movies to come out, cause I really feel like they are superb films. I was so pleased to be a part of them. I can't believe how much work I've been doing over the past year, and it just keeps coming. I must definitely get some rest now.

Well, all of the filming is finished. I believe the title has been settled on, 'Rear Window'. My goodness it was one of the most interesting films I have worked on yet. And the costumes were so much better than what I had to wear in 'Dial M For Murder'. Perhaps someone mentioned my complaint to Hitch, although I doubt he would make a decision based on how I felt, or anyone else for that matter, besides Alma maybe. I am so anxious for these films to be released, I feel like they are some of my best work and I can't wait to share it with everyone. The set we worked on for Window was simply amazing, like our own little world. I am almost sad that I won't be going back to Jimmy Stewart's little apartment, ha. And speaking of Jimmy, he was an absolute pleasure to work with. Very funny, and very sweet. I can definitely see why Hitch likes to work with him. Now that filming is done I am eager to get back to New York. I will probably stop off and see the family in Phildelphia for a bit as well. The next film I am in talks to do will film a bit in New York before shooting out here in LA, so I can have a bit of a change, before it's back to the Hollywood grindstone.

I'm so terribly sorry that I have been missing lately. I spent a good chunk of this holiday season visitng family back home in Philadelphia and friends back home and in New York, so I have been a bit out of pocket. I am so excited. I'v also been quite hush-hush on the project that I have been working for, but as we will soon finish filming I think that I can talk about it a little more. It is the project that Hitch had lined up for me after we finished M, which hasn't even been released yet. This time I am working with Jimmy Stewart and he is absolutely wonderful. And the costumes this time are much better than the drab stuff I was wearing in M. The set that Hitchcock and his magic men constructed is absolutely amazing. It's like being in our own little world, indoors and outdoors, night and day, rain and shine, you name it we got it. Well, I don't want to give away too much more cause I think this is going to be super, and I hate to spill the beans about any important plot points. I'll give away a few more details soon. Oh, and happy new year to you all!

Well, I've been reading over the script for the next project Hitch wants me to work on. It is really something, but I shan't say to much about it in such a public forum. The last thing I need to be accused of is letting the cat out of the bag, so to speak. But I have such a great feeling about all the possibilities ahead of me in the new year. And not just on the screen either, but once again I won't spoil things by saying too much. I am going to wrap the gifts I have bought this afternoon. I'm flying back to Philadelphia tomorrow to see my family for Christmas. And I think I will probably end up in New York for New Years. Ha, NY for NY, makes sense to me. Well, I hope that everyone's holiday wishes, hopes, and dreams come true.

I have tickets to go to the theater tonight. I am anxiously awaiting the script to the next project Hitch wants me to work on, so I am trying to entertain myself with other things. Tomorrow I am going to catch up on my correspondence. I have so many people to write, back in Philadelphia especially.

One of my favorite things to do while I am filming in different places is to go shopping at all the different stores I would never see in Philadelphia or New York. I am having a wonderful time at all the shops right now. I can't wait to see the looks on my family members faces when they see all the goodies I bring back for them for Christmas. And of course I can't resist picking up a few things for myself as well. A wonderful black dress with just enough shine to make it perfect for the holidays. I am so excited about the holiday season and what next year may hold for me. Hitch's ideas for future projects are absolutely tantalizing and I've been receiving some very good scripts from others as well. A new year full of wonderful possibilities has me in the holiday spirit.

You know, I really think I must do this more often. Work on a film where I am the only female character that is. What fun it is to be one of the guys for a bit. Although I am not officially a member of the club, ha. Bob and Ray have been so wonderful to work with, and of course dear Hitch is very good to me. I am so excited at the prospect of continuing to work with him. He said he had several ideas for me in the future. How nice to have the attention of such a fantastic filmmaker. And everyone wants to be in a Hitchcock film, so who knows who else I might get to work with.

I am still trying to think of a great gift for Rita to help cheer her up. I'm sure I'll find something. Maybe a fabulous new hat!

I am trying to decide if I want to go home to Philadelphia for the holidays, or if I just want to talk my family into coming to New York. It seems like it might be alot of fun to have everyone up here. But then there is something to be said for going home for the holidays. I simply must get gifts for everyone soon, no matter what plans I end up making. I talked to Rita just the other day as well. I think I will pick out an extra special gift for her. I know that her and Sydney's split hasn't been easy, and I would like to cheer her up a little.

My goodness, I am only just now getting post. I have been terribly busy lately. I had a lovely birthday dinner with lots of friends and family. It was so wonderful to be surrounded by people I love so very much. Now, I of course won't reveal my age in such an open forum, ha. But thank you to everyone who sent me birthday wishes.
